Cochrane Calgary Real Estate & Houses
Cochrane is one of the largest towns in the province of Alberta with a population of almost 30,000 in 2019. It is located northwest of the city of Calgary, about 18 kilometres away along the Highway 1A, and sits at the base of Big Hill in the Bow River Valley. This historical area was established in 1881 and named after Matthew Henry Cochrane, who was a local rancher. It officially became a village in 1903, and later in 1971, was incorporated as a town.

The town also has annual events that unite the communities like the Canada Day Celebration and the Labour Day Rodeo.
