5 Outdoor Activities for the Whole Family

Looking for some fun activities to do with the family this winter? We’ve rounded up a few fun outdoor activities for the whole family. 1. Skating at Olympic Plaza

This is a popular spot for skating in the winter, and could it be any prettier? Talk about getting into the holiday spirit! Go during the day and enjoy the winter sunshine, or go at night when the lights and the Calgary Tower are all lit up. Grab a cup of hot chocolate, grab your skates and your mitts and head downtown with the family for some ice skating! 

2. Tubing at WinSport

If you’ve never been tubing before, fair warning - it’s a TON of fun and will have you laughing and smiling the whole time. Make sure you bundle up and get the kids nice and toasty for a day of fun! This is an activity for the whole family to enjoy, and don’t forget the hot chocolate!

3. Hit the Slopes in the Mountains

Yes, it’s that time of the year again - for all you ski lovers and snowboarding lovers! Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced skier/snowboarder, hitting the slopes makes for a fun-filled day! 4. Visit the Outdoor Pools at the Kananaskis Nordic Spa

Not going to lie - this one is more for the mums out there! Why not book a relaxing massage while dad takes the kids to the hot pools? 5. Check out the Ice Magic Festival in Lake Louise
